As a working caregiver myself, I know the personal and economic toll. Businesses lose $44 billion annually in productivity, caregivers face $7,200 out-of-pocket, and public systems are strained.

The game-changer? The Federal CARE Act and Colorado CARE Act are designed to be REVENUE NEUTRAL!

This means no new taxes or additional funds. These Acts leverage existing legislation and structures, transforming challenges into opportunities.

• For Colorado: Our proposed Act is a net-zero solution, working within existing agency resources. It projects $17.4M - $69.4M annually in employer savings from reduced turnover, more than offsetting any minimal state costs. It adds "family caregiver status" as a protected class and promotes telework.
• For the Nation: The Federal CARE Act is a landmark proposal projecting a net positive fiscal impact of $5.3 billion over 10 years! This is achieved through $3.5 billion in federal program savings (reduced SSDI, UI, Medicaid, SSI) and $1.8 billion in increased tax revenue from improved workforce retention.
