BIODOME UPDATE -- Animal Friends on Friendly Friday!

Multiple YouTube videos show a water buffalo charging in to save a friend by knocking a pack of lions off the water buffalo they have pulled down and are piled on. Then it is 2 standing buffaloes against 5 lions who are not willing to get injured.
Other reports relate a bird hit a window and was lying at its base when a friend flew down, shook it until it roused and they flew off together.
We now know, dolphins and orcas have names they use with each other.
Crows recognize human faces and know the people who have been nice or have hurt other crows and pass this information on to the rest of the crows they know.
Animals befriend each other, within their own kind and across species. Many accounts and videos tell of animal friends who regularly visit those people who have helped them or rescued them in a dire circumstance. Friendship and gratitude are natural responses to kindness we all share.
