We recently reached our goal of 2000+ signatures and have delivered the petition to the Minister for Public and Active Transport, Gabrielle Williams and the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.

I met with the minister's office in February to discuss my campaign, talk to the progress cities like London and Paris have made on cycling and to urge the Victorian Government to act and show leadership on active transport in our state. 

In terms of next steps, I have invited the minister for a walk through (or a ride!) of Johnston St to see the safety issues first-hand and to meet with community members and traders who would like to see a safer and more liveable street for people not cars.
