Camelford sits on the A39 in Cornwall, it has been promised a by-pass for over 40 years but every-time it gets withdrawn and the people of Camelford, visitors to some of our beautiful areas of North Cornwall get stuck in traffic jams.

Over 220 people died in Cornwall Last year because of traffic fumes and other related traffic issues, Camelford has two pinch points one has traffic lights and during the busy summer traffic can be held up for up to 30 minutes and when you get through that one a further 100 yards up the road you get another.

Camelford is the only Town in Cornwall that has not been by passed, one excuse is, it's not value for money, what value do you put on people lives, children living in Camelford regularly suffer from asthma, chest infections and for some walking to school is a nightmare.
