You can help out the cause one huge step further by submitting a Comment on the Budget.

Down towards the bottom of the page you will see a comment form, just enter your information.

For question 4, If you live in La Presa select “District 1”. If you live in North Spring Valley, Casa de Oro, or Rancho San Diego, select “District 4”. If you live in Steele Canyon or Jamul, select “District 2”.

For question 5, select “Other” and type in “Parks”

For question 6, select  “Land Use & Environment Group”

Enter your comment. Something like “Please see that funding for the complete construction of Calavo Park is in this year's budget because… << fill in why it is important to you here>> 

Comments must be submitted by Thursday, June 13th before 5 p.m.
