It’s frustrating to see the waste ground within our town limits lying unused when it could be transformed into a thriving community hub.
Positioned ideally, that patch of waste ground could host an ice rink, providing a safe, enjoyable, and healthy recreational space that serves not only families but individuals of all ages. Presently, we have to travel miles just to reach the nearest ice rink, which adds unnecessary strain on our time, resources, and the environment due to increased car journeys. Building a local ice rink would alleviate these challenges and promote a more active, healthier lifestyle within our community.
The benefits of constructing an ice rink are manifold. It would offer a space for kids, teenagers, and adults alike to engage in ice skating, figure skating, and even ice hockey.
