Sadly, yet another child has died from injuries sustained from a traffic accident while walking to school at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, CO. ANOTHER! How many children need to be injured or killed before changes are made? 

It is beyond time for the City of Colorado Springs and School District 11 to take action! We propose a pedestrian bridge be built over Barnes Road to protect the thousands of students who attend Doherty High School. 

Let's learn from this heartbreaking tragedy rather than turning a blind eye. Protect our children!! Parents shouldn't be burying their children! Children should feel safe going to school! Our community demands immediate action from the City of Colorado Springs and School District 11!
