Timmins is home to one of the more prominent centers of Klingon fandom in Canada, and was prominently represented during the Klingon Way Project last year. You can read his message below. We understand that the town of Vulcan serves as the Star Trek capital of Canada and attracts tourist of all genres visiting your town. In Timmins, the Klingon community has been prominent in fundraising and advocacy work around the City. Most recently, they hosted a community fundraiser for Wounded Warriors Canada's PTSD Service Dog Program. The Klingon community are always attending events and supporting other local organizations in their fundraising efforts. If the Klingon Community in Vulcan is as valuable to your community and you share in the vision of the being the Star Trek Capital of Canada than this partnership would be a great way to enhance that image and tourism potential in your community.
