A cricket pitch was created in Green Lake Park for our community residents. Without warning of "permit violations", the park district decided to close it down for the rest of 2021. Many families and community members used this space, which is now blocked with bolted down soccer goal posts. 
A warning should have been given, or violators should have been fined, before the entire pitch was blocked and closed for the next 5 months.
There are violations at the skate park, but it isn't closed for 5 months.
There are violations at the tennis courts, but they aren't closed for 5 months. 
This is unreasonable. Please, Buffalo Grove, open the cricket pitch for our neighbors. Thank you!
