Following the impeachment of the Vice President of Finance and the Vice President of Internal Affairs, it has come to light that there is an alarming disconnect between the senators and the constituents whom they allegedly represent. This petition was created by members of the BU student body for members of the BU student body to reaffirm that BU Student Government senators who voted to impeach the VPs made these decisions without the necessary and sufficient support of the student body. Therefore, as a result of the senate’s actions, this Student Government is unrepresentative and consequently, de facto illegitimate.

As a BU Student, I am signing this petition to say that the BU Student Government, as it currently stands, does not represent me.
