October 7th, 2023, marked the beginning of this bloody genocide. Countless children have become orphans, and mothers and fathers dig through rubble seeking their children. Numerous children in Palestine have witnessed more blood than clean water. With famine spreading, many families are struggling to survive, and some starve to death.

The search for humanitarian aid is also life-threatening for Palestinians. There have been reports that aid convoys have been attacked by Israeli soldiers, who drop bombs or shoot innocent people trying to access basic necessities.

Despite the war crimes Israel has committed, much of the Western media ignores it or victimizes Israel. Our country has provided $17.9 billion in military aid to Israel.

Benton Middle School students have proven that we can express ourselves in a peaceful manner through the ICE protest. We have the right to express ourselves and educate ourselves about politics because someday it will affect us.
