The Brooksville Beautification Board has determined that the equine statue in front of city hall need be removed because they feel it is "ugly".  While we, as residents of Brooksville Florida, understand and support the idea of having other artists display their work in Brooksville, we disagree with your personal opinions about the statue's beauty.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as most art is.  We feel that the statue should remain in place and any new art be displayed elsewhere.
