FIX SECTION 8 VOUCHER , CITY FEPS TO BE ACCEPTED EVERYWHERE
The Issue
- I am Advocating for all of us who are homeless , I can truly write we are the forgotten apple in our cities. I hate to inform the truth , these Programs are broken and don't assist , what they do is cause confusion , disturbance in daily life and sadness when we have made full effort and there is no hope in near future . How to find a apartment or how to recover is not reasonable . These programs called (City FEPS) are white piece of paper in size of 8.5x11, The brokers, property owners, discriminate and demean the applicant and when that is over they ghost you , like it meant nothing .There are children, adults, and elderly who are in a worse situation and then me , I see them, I hear them . Today I am starting a petition to get help because there are no helplines that assist for these vouchers, no websites that cater to section 8 and landlords who welcome us in there community . Meaning of Equal Housing is the word WE !
- Why there is no effort from the HRA , to assist , Why the Mayor and the Governor not looking over this and creating solutions?
- Corcoran Group - Douglas Elliman Real Estate and others don't assist people with Section 8. I have documented proof not once in many separate incidents where I was demeaned , I was never called back and simply Ghosted once they heard the word Voucher .
- We must correct this , before anymore people fall back and cannot regain . Little kids who cannot have hot meals, adults cannot call a home and elderly who only die in hope. Madam Governor we need your assistance , Mr. Mayor we need your support help with this cause .

I live in a shelter ,I have ambitions to be successful in my work , be a better parent and great friend. Over these years slowly I lost all which was meaningful to a disease called Depression.
