PLEASE HELP US KEEP BRODY’S BOOTS ❤️

I am asking our community to stand with us and help keep Brody’s Boots in Glen Arbour.

These boots are not garbage. They are not an eyesore. They are not simply a pair of boots sitting beside the road.

They are a memorial to my son, Brody.

Brody was a fisherman. Those boots represent the life he loved—the ocean, fishing, his friends, his family, and the person he was.

After we lost Brody, those boots became a place where people could stop, remember him, leave flowers, and feel close to him. They have brought comfort to his family and friends through an unimaginable loss.

But they have also come to represent something much bigger.

In Brody’s memory, we created SeaAholic and the Brody Shaw Memorial Car Show, and we have continued giving back to our communities—helping families facing cancer, people recovering from terrible accidents, families struggling at Christmas, and people affected by mental health, addiction and grief.

Something beautiful has grown from something absolutely devastating.

Brody’s boots sit approximately 15 feet from the roadway, beyond the ditch near a pole. They are small, quiet and meaningful.

Grief does not have an expiry date, and neither should remembrance.

Removing these boots will not erase our grief. It will only remove a place that has brought comfort, connection and purpose to so many people.

If you believe Brody’s Boots should be allowed to remain in Glen Arbour, please add your name to this petition and share it.

We aren’t asking for something extravagant.

We are simply asking to let his boots stay.

For Brody.
For his family and friends.
For everyone who has ever stopped there and remembered him.
And for every grieving family who understands what a small place of remembrance can mean.
