On September 7th 2023 at 3:20 a.m I got that dreaded knock on my door.  Ontario Provincial Police had come to inform us that our daughter had passed away.  
Brittani was with someone she considered a "friend" on that fateful evening of September 5th and into the early hours of the 6th.  At some point Brittani was "narcanned" TWICE by this "friend".  Police were called, police were informed Naloxone was administeredTWICE and yet NOBODY called my daughter an ambulance OR EVEN ME to get her some medical attention. 
This should NOT be happening!! 
People SHOULD NOT be left to die by themselves!!
I will FIGHT to make sure Police call an ambulance OR a family member to get their loved one the help they require!!  
Mental health and addiction is serious and their lives matter too!! 
Brittani was a mom, she was a friend, she was a sister, she was MY DAUGHTER and she was loved!! ❤
