Let me take a moment to thank everyone who’d taken their time to sign my Petition. It has collected over 500 signatories in 1 month. I should say that the issue raised by me is well known. There is a legislative draft available on this link. I am optimistic to gather 1000 signatories soon so that the Parliament will be obliged to answer Petition, however whatever outcome will be, Public awareness and concern are obvious. It is just a matter of time for changes to come. I’m considering going out for a street action as well-I’m a busy professional so it may take time to arrange. I prepared another Petition based on the N&S Statistical Police Report -that is to do with increased number of Intimate Searches on BAME population.
