Aug 2, 2014 — Dear Friends,

Some of you may have already heard the news - Bingo, a 31 years old Icelandic orca died at Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium in Japan. It was announced today that Bingo, after having suffered from a pneumonia like disease since December last year, has now lost the fight.

I am deeply saddened by the news. Bingo joins a long list of 159 orcas who have so far died in captivity, bringing the death toll to approximately 160. It goes to show that captivity is inadequate for orcas and that they simply cannot survive long in those conditions.

Please keep sharing the petition and tweeting to BA asking them to stop their relationship with SeaWorld. You have done a fantastic job already as hundreds of you have already tweeted to BA. Thank you all and keep it up. Let's make Bingo the last orca to die in captivity!!!
