Dear Friends, You may already have heard the recent news that SeaWorld is actively participating in the barbaric and horrific dolphin drive hunts in Taiji, Japan, by having trainers high up in the rankings of the IMATA - the International Marine Animal Trainer's Association. IMATA not only accredits SeaWorld as a "place of excellence", SeaWorld also hosts regular IMATA meetings which are attended by SeaWorld staff. IMATA themselves send trainers to Taiji to select the pretty dolphins for captivity and let the rest of them get slaughtered in the most brutal, unethical and inhumane way. SeaWorld officially condemns the Taiji drive hunts but thanks to this article from Sarah Lucas, the CEO of Australia for Dolphins, it turns out that SeaWorld's promises are once again nothing but lies. Please spread the news about SeaWorld's involvement in the Taiji dolphin culling and ask them to immediately cut all ties to IMATA and Taiji. SeaWorld cannot proclaim to condemn the dolphin drive hunts in Taiji, when they actively support them behind closed doors!!!
