BA thinks that SeaWorld upholds US animal welfare laws such as the Animal Welfare Act and exceeds even ABTA's guidelines but that is false. NO captivity facility meets ABTA's high standards yet ABTA members like Thompson, Thomas Cook, Cosmos, First Choice and Virgin Holidays still sell trips to SeaWorld. The problem is that ABTA does nothing to ensure its members comply with its guidelines. BA is not a member of ABTA but they do use ABTA's guidelines to justify their partnership with SeaWorld. If we demand that ABTA enforce their own rules, BA can no longer hide behind them! Please sign WDC's petition and share it with everyone you know - the more of us who sign, the more ABTA will have to listen.
