As you may know, we started this petition in 2016. CEO, Mr Alex Cruz of British Airways responded to us then stating the economic situation in Sierra Leone and Liberia were not ideal. He believed at the time that direct flights to these two countries were not commercially viable. It is now 2018 and with new Presidents in state in both Sierra Leone and Liberia, (Maada Bio and George Weah) respectively - who both have set economic stability as a top priority on their agendas. It is therefore only reasonable that we ask British Airways to review their network as previously promised and developments in the market so as to consider bringing back Direct Flights to the people of Sierra Leone and Liberia.
