As a huge Lean fan, I’ve experienced firsthand how much his music has an impact on his fans. His unorthodox style and raw lyricism resonate deeply with so many of us fans, and his presence can truly transform an ordinary day into a breathtaking experience. Living in Winnipeg however, it often feels like we're out of luck when it comes to experiencing our favorite artists live.

Yung Lean has been gaining way more popularity than ever before, and many people from different backgrounds are tuning in to his brilliance. But attending his concerts often requires travelling out of town, which just isn’t something every fan has the opportunity to do. The cost of plane tickets and accommodations (hotels) in major cities can be really limiting, I myself would not have been able to go see in during the Forever Yung tour in 2025 if I didn’t have a friend who lived in Toronto and let me stay with him at his home.

By bringing Yung Lean to Winnipeg on his next North American or World tour, we ensure his music reaches even more fans who are yearning for the live experience. Winnipeg has a vibrant music community, so openers would not be a difficult sell at all. Our city offers an enthusiastic audience and our prideful municipal quirkiness that would make for an unforgettable concert experience.

We need to show Yung Lean and his tour management team that there's a huge, untapped fan base waiting for him here in Winnipeg. Just picture the energy, the excitement, the collective euphoria of the multitude of fans coming together to celebrate the music that inspires us on our day to day lives.
