BRING VAL CHMERKOVSKIY BACK TO DWTS — AND HOLD THE JUDGES ACCOUNTABLE!
To ABC, BBC Studios, and the producers of Dancing with the Stars:

We, the fans of Dancing with the Stars, are calling for Val Chmerkovskiy to return to the ballroom immediately and remain eligible to dance for the rest of the season with his partner, Jenna Dewan.

We understand that Val made a poor choice with his social media comments, and he has publicly apologized. We believe people should be held accountable for their actions, but we also believe that accountability should be fair and proportionate.

At the same time, we are asking the producers to address concerns about the judging on this show, particularly feedback from Carrie Ann Inaba that many viewers consider unnecessarily harsh or inconsistent.

If professional dancers are expected to maintain respect and professionalism, shouldn't judges be held to high standards of fairness and professionalism, too?

Judges have an important responsibility. Constructive criticism is part of the competition, but contestants and professional dancers deserve feedback that is respectful, consistent, and focused on their performances.

We are calling on the producers to:

Bring Val back immediately and allow him to continue partnering with Jenna Dewan.
Allow Val to compete for the remainder of the season, rather than letting this incident end his participation.
Review Carrie Ann Inaba's judging and feedback, including concerns about consistency and the way criticism is delivered.
Consider benching Carrie Ann from judging if the producers determine that her conduct fails to meet the same standards of professionalism expected of everyone else.
Apply the show's rules consistently to everyone, whether they are professional dancers, celebrity contestants, or judges.
This petition is not about excusing inappropriate comments. It is about fairness, proportional consequences, and accountability that applies to everyone.

We watch Dancing with the Stars because we love the dancing, the partnerships, the personalities, and the excitement of the competition. We want a show where everyone is treated fairly and where disagreements can be addressed without unnecessarily damaging someone's opportunity to participate.

Please hear the fans. Bring Val back, let him finish the season with Jenna, and take a serious look at fairness and accountability in the judging panel.
