The National Lottery draws used to bring families together on a Saturday night hoping that their numbers will come up. 

But at the end of 2016, both Camelot and the BBC thought that since most people check their tickets online, they decided to scrap the draw show and move it Online instead. (The draws are currently shown Live on The National Lottery’s YouTube channel) 

When ITV picked it up in 2018, all they would do is show the Saturday Lotto results in the Adverts during shows like Britain’s Got Talent or The X Factor. 
This doesn’t give the draws any exposure and disregards the other Draw games like Thunderball, Set for Life, and the EuroMillions. 

Ever since 2019, I’ve been coming up with how The National Lottery should come back to Domestic Television and what shows should go with the Draws. 
Back when they took over at the start of this year, Allwyn have said they want to bring it back to our screens but we have not heard anything about it since. 

RTE still broadcasts the main Lottery draws every Wednesday and Saturday over at our neighbouring country in Ireland. 
That makes it even more unfair on us here in Old Blighty. 

Not only that, some households in this country don’t have access to the Internet than most homes have. (Whether that’s for personal reasons or because some households are struggling) 

I hope that this petition will go a long way and will hopefully bring the magic of the draws back the way it was and give it the exposure it needs.
