Disney recently launched “Disney+ & Hulu Throwbacks,” bringing back nostalgic animated series like The Weekenders to streaming. For longtime fans, this proves that Disney is finally paying attention to demand for classic 90s and 2000s content.

But while Toon Disney titles are slowly returning, there’s still a huge gap — especially for international audiences.

In Europe, Latin America, and many other regions, Fox Kids and Jetix were far more iconic than Toon Disney ever was. Entire generations grew up with these channels, yet many of their shows remain unavailable on Disney+.
