To any student striving to go abroad for college, or even just to a good one, the IB Program would be spectacular, basically a set of classes that get you a IB Diploma, which is recognized worldwide. Similar to AP Classes, these also grant you college credit, and on many accounts, set you up for an easier time in college, but where can you find these programs? Only at the magnet schools of Wake County, which, if you aren't zoned for them, you have to get lucky and win the lottery for them. Even if you do manage to get in, they can be very far for a good number of people with commutes being impossible for many. IB has been known to even improve overall school performance and raise the standard, so help convince the WCPSS Board that this must be standard for more schools, providing the equality to everyone to be part of the IB Program!
