When I was young and I saw the big rubber duck in sydney harbour, i thought it was a permanent feature. Grown as I am now, I am still disapointed it is not only not permenant, but has not been back since 2014.

I mourn the absence of the big rubber duck daily. I yearn for her bright sunlit yellows. I crave her graceful wafting across the waters.

This petition is written in hopes that the Port Authority of NSW and the NSW State Goverment see the good that the giant rubber duck has brought to their community and invest in bringing it back again. Or better yet, commission the artist behind the big rubber duck -- Florentijn Hofman -- to construct another big rubber duck to remain in Sydney on a permenant basis.
