Florida Deserves More Than Just Hard Rock: End the Sports Betting Monopoly

This book is constantly locking people from placing amazing bets, and goes under maintenance at the most inconvenient times, like today, for 3 hours now on a playoff day the app says it’s “updating to make our experience better.” These things need to take place in the middle of the night, DraftKings and FanDuel would never. 

We, the sports fans and citizens of Florida, are demanding an end to the exclusive control Hard Rock Bet has over sports betting in our state.

 

For far too long, Florida has been locked into a one-operator system that fails to meet the needs of its users. Constant technical issues, lack of competitive odds, limited promotions, and zero sportsbook options have left millions of Floridians frustrated and underserved.

 

We’re not asking — we’re demanding change.

 

This petition calls on Florida lawmakers and the Seminole Tribe to either:

 

Open up the market and allow other major sportsbooks (FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, etc.) to operate in Florida,
OR
Shut down Hard Rock’s monopoly if it continues to operate without competition or accountability.

 

 

We deserve choices. We deserve transparency. And we deserve a fair, reliable, and competitive sports betting environment — just like other states across the country.
