Sentencing was today. 
John Carter will be serving 3 years in prison. It is a relief knowing that for the first time since this nightmare began; he is not free.
 While I know 3 years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. It will not bring Katelyn back. It is not going to change the amount of hurt and pain he has caused her family and friends. But he can no longer lie to everyone and claim his innocence.
I have so much respect for the judge for giving the maximum sentence. I am so thankful to all of you who have shown your support. It did not go unnoticed. The prosecution side was able to present the judge with 59 letters to the judge as victim impact statements; directly noting that 2 of the letters had support behind them each numbering 120, and 160 persons. That was us. I am proud to say we were able to show that support.
