More than twenty years later, thousands of players still remember GUN, the 2005 Activision masterpiece,  with great affection. Even today, so many posts, videos, or discussions about the game continues to receive countless comments from fans asking the same question:

"Why hasn't GUN returned?"

The gaming industry has shown that classic games can find incredible success through remasters and remakes. Players have enthusiastically welcomed the return of beloved titles, proving there is strong demand for high-quality revivals. GUN deserves the same opportunity, because it is one on the most memorable and incredible open world Western games ever created. Long before the modern popularity of the genre, GUN delivered an unforgettable adventure with an engaging story, memorable characters, exciting gunfights, horseback exploration, bounty hunting, and an authentic Wild West atmosphere.

Furthermore, although the original game was relatively compact by today's standards, that is exactly why a remake represents such an exciting opportunity. By preserving the original story while also expanding the world with new side missions, additional characters, deeper exploration, and extra activities, Activision could honor the classic experience while creating the definitive version of GUN for both longtime fans and a new generation of players.

This petition is for everyone that believes that as a full remake built with modern technology, GUN could introduce a new generation of players to one of the greatest Western adventures ever made while allowing longtime fans to experience it once again.

So we respectfully ask Activision to consider bringing GUN back to modern platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
