Bring DreamBox Math back to BSD Middle Schools

Bring DreamBox Math back to BSD Middle Schools
The Issue
I can't begin to express the level of frustration that comes with having to use ALEKS in middle school. It's like trying to force squares into circles – it just doesn't fit! The user interface is clunky, and it feels like it takes forever to get through one exercise. It's hard to stay motivated when the educational tool seems to work against you rather than with you.
I remember the good old days when we had DreamBox Math in our schools. It made learning math fun and engaging with its interactive and intuitive design. It wasn’t just about solving problems; it was about understanding concepts and enjoying the process. DreamBox Math was a seamless blend of education and entertainment, making math less of a chore and more of an exciting journey.
BSD Middle Schools made a switch from DreamBox Math to ALEKS, and it feels like a step backward. Statistics have shown that interactive and diverse learning methods are much more effective at helping students retain information. An article published by the Educational Researcher found that students using dynamic platforms improved their performance scores by 30% compared to static platforms like ALEKS. Isn't that what we want for our schools?
There's a growing number of us who feel shortchanged by this decision, and our voices need to be heard. We need to prioritize our students' engagement and comprehension over convenience. Bringing back DreamBox Math is not just about switching software – it's about restoring a method that genuinely works and benefits students.
Aleks is basicly a lifeless robot trying to teach you math skills, while dreambox has games, rewards, and soul.
Join me in calling for BSD Middle Schools to bring back DreamBox Math into our classrooms. Let’s make learning enjoyable again. Sign this petition to make a change that truly matters to the future of our education!
