James Corden, host of The Late Late Show on CBS, will be vacating that position in 2023.

He took over the hosting in 2015 after Craig Ferguson left.

Without Craig's surreal deconstruction of a late-night show, TV has been a lonelier place.

We need Craig back.

And Geoff Peterson.  And Secretariat.  And Sid, the foul-mouthed rabbit.  And the whole strange, wonderfully silly world that used to be The Late Late Show from 2005-2014.

His show has lived on, in memoriam, with the hundreds of clips and shows on YouTube, hosted by superfans like The Jayleno Fly, itself a reference to a running gag between Craig and Geoff.  That site - with no on-air promotion - has over 320 million views.  Another fan page, The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson Archive has over 27 million views.

There is an audience out there, and a need for the kind of humor only Craig and his Late Late Show could provide.
