I am a resident of Sydney, NSW, Australia and a passionate fan of Chicko's, the pride and joy of the Gong. It is an absolute crime and national shame that this culinary delight isn't available in more locations. Chicko's has been serving up mouth-watering chicken for years in Wollongong, winning over locals with their unique flavours and quality ingredients. Yet us Sydneysiders are left out in the cold.

Chicko’s is not just another fast-food chain; it’s a community staple that brings people together over shared love for good food. Its absence from our city is felt deeply by those who have had the pleasure of tasting its offerings.

The demand for high-quality fast food options like Chicko’s is on the rise in Sydney. According to Food Industry Foresight (FIF), 37% of Australians are eating out at least once a week - an increase from previous years (source: FIF 2019 report). With such significant growth in dining out culture, there's no doubt that Chicko’s would be welcomed with open arms by Sydneysiders.

It's time we bring this beloved institution to our city. Let us show our support for expanding Chicko's reach beyond Wollongong and into Sydney where it can continue to delight palates and create memorable dining experiences.
