After a decade away, Barnet Football Club are ready to come home. Plans for a fully-funded, ecological community stadium have been submmitted to the local council.

If you believe in the power of local football clubs, access to community spaces, and access to sporting facilities for young children, we need your support to help bring Barnet back home!

After an extensive public consultation and listening to feedback on a draft set of designs, Barnet Football Club have shared plans for a new community stadium:

  • Fully-funded community stadium
  • Ecological and sustainable design with increased local biodiversity
  • A new fully-funded community medical facility
  • A sustainable design that impacts less than 0.3% of greenbelt land in the borough
  • An estimated £2.1 million of annual revenue into the local economy and a struggling high street.

Why Bring Barnet FC back home?

Barnet FC is a valuable community asset which has lived at the heart of its community for over 125 years. Bringing Barnet home will see the men's, women's and youth teams return back to the borough, while providing the local community with fully funded medical and sporting facilities.

  1. Community Facilities
  • A state of the art stadium to be used by the football club and for community events
  • Brand new community medical facilities
  • A return home of the club's award-winning foundation and charity work
  • Plans designed to support the views of local residents, schools and community groups.
  • Park facilities, public toilets and cafe all renovated for open-access public use

We need your support

This stadium is not just a hub for football and sport, it is fully-funded community centre designed to provide space for local community groups, and a new meidcal centre, while also contibuting a net biodiversity gain to the greenspace.

The design is ecological and sustainable - taking into account the feedback on the original design from the public consultation and from an online petiton regarding the earlier plans.

While there is a loss of 0.3% of greenbelt land to the borough, this is mitigated by the ecological stadium design and the benefits to the local economy, identity and ultimately across the community
