The United States of America’s government officials have infringed upon our rights of freedom of speech, and freedom of the press, as mentioned in the Bill of Rights. Each right is promised to every American citizen.
    TikTok was not only just a mindless scrolling app, but rather a place of community in a very large world thats is often divided. The social media application, often used for entertainment purposes, was also a place that most would consider full of information and a place of cultural trade off. The positive impact that TikTok has left on the American culture is not only a drive for this petition, but also for others with good intentions for this country. We try hard to be a healing nation from recent light of the things the average citizen has had going through. From raising prices, a tanking economy, and wars going on with our country constantly in the mix. Why is the American Government worried about taking our rights away?
   The United States of America’s Government  is not allowed to censor, suppress, nor control any of the news or media. This petition is created to let the United States of America’s Government know that we will not let our rights be tested and played with anymore. We the people of the United States of America hold the right to freedom of the press! And we hold the right to petition against the government! Give us back our freedom!
