Guzman y Gomez has taken their amazing shredded mushroom filling off the menu, which has clearly left many of us outraged and disappointed.

The shredded mushrooms were more than just a filling - they were a testament to delicious fast food that both plant based and meat lovers could enjoy. Now we are left with their soggy sauteed veggies.

The shredded mushrooms were the savoury goodness I sought every week, sometimes multiple times a week! The removal of the shredded mushroom filling feels like a massive step in the wrong direction for a sustainable future.
