We are petitioning to maintain the current uniforms for students who already have them, as the new uniforms come with a significant financial burden. The iconic brown sack uniforms are a staple of St. Hubert's High School, making us unique, and many students and families have already invested in multiple jumpers, shirts, and sweaters, expecting to wear them throughout their four years. The new winter uniform features a yellow shirt that is see-through, and with the added cost of patches and the need to replace faded shirts, it places an unnecessary strain on families.

Additionally, the new uniforms are mismatched with the Student Council sash, and the gold senior patches will blend in with the yellow shirts, diminishing their significance. To go along with that the yellow 3-button polo shirt is not the correct color and does not go with traditional Saint Hubert colors. Many girls are likely to roll their skirts to their liking, resulting in dress code violations. Given these issues, we believe maintaining the current uniform would be a better solution for both students and parents, preserving tradition while avoiding unnecessary expenses. We ask that the new uniform is grandfathered in, as it will prevent unnecessary stress and burdens put on the guardians of current students. We respect and understand any further decisions made by administration.
