I, like many other members of the Half-Life and Counter-Strike community, have been part of this gaming universe for nearly a quarter of a century. Initially as an active member of the modding community and today as an occasional but passionate player, especially at LAN parties. With my LAN friends, I have found a home in the Counter-Strike maps for almost 25 years, spending countless exciting and fun hours there — just like millions of players around the world. Our bond with the game is not only strengthened by the thrilling matches but also by the unique atmosphere created by details such as radio music in specific maps.

The map "cs_italy," a fan favorite in both CS 1.6 and CS: Source, featured the music piece "Ha, inseparable e il sol dell anima" from the opera "Rigoletto" on its in-game radio. This music not only contributed to the authentic Italian atmosphere but is also inseparable from the iconic map, evoking a warm, nostalgic feeling with every game.

Unfortunately, the remake of the map for "Counterstrike 2" lacks this musical detail. It might seem like a small detail, but for many of us, it’s an important memory. It reminds us of the time we spent together, which we fondly look back on. It’s important for us to feel at home in each new iteration of CS, and this specific radio music plays a significant role in that.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to consider restoring "Ha, inseparable e il sol dell anima" on the "cs_italy" map in "Counterstrike 2." Help us preserve the nostalgic memories and keep the game as close to the original as possible.

Ich, wie viele andere Mitglieder der Half-Life- und Counter-Strike Community, bin seit fast einem Vierteljahrhundert Teil dieses Gaming-Universums. Erst als aktives Mitglied der Modding-Community und heute als gelegentlicher, aber leidenschaftlicher Spieler, insbesondere bei LAN-Parties. Mit meinen LAN-Freunden habe ich fast 25 Jahre in den Counter-Strike Maps Zuhause gefunden und dort unzählige gemeinsame, aufregende und lustige Stunden verbracht - genau wie Millionen Spieler weltweit. Unsere Bindung mit dem Spiel wird nicht nur durch die spannenden Matches, sondern auch durch die einzigartige Atmosphäre, die durch Details wie Radio-Musik in spezifischen Maps erzeugt wird, gestärkt.

Die Map "cs_italy", ein Fan-Favorit sowohl in CS 1.6 als auch in CS:Source, hatte im In-Game-Radio das Musikstück "Ha, inseparable e il sol dell anima" aus der Oper "Rigoletto".
