Bring Back the Original Eurovision Song Contest Logo

Bring Back the Original Eurovision Song Contest Logo
Das Problem
We, the undersigned, express our deep concern and disappointment with the newly introduced Eurovision Song Contest logo. While change can often be positive, this redesign feels unnecessarily childish and out of place for a competition of such global cultural importance.
The previous logo was modern, timeless, and highly recognizable. It carried elegance and professionalism while still celebrating the diversity and unity that Eurovision stands for. It connected millions of fans across generations and became an integral part of the contest’s strong brand identity.
By replacing it with a design that lacks the same gravitas, the EBU risks alienating long-time fans, undermining the contest’s international reputation, and damaging a visual identity that did not need fixing. Eurovision is more than just a show – it is a tradition, a cultural phenomenon, and a symbol of unity through music. Its visual identity should reflect that.
We therefore call on the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to reconsider this decision and reinstate the previous Eurovision Song Contest logo. The contest deserves a professional, iconic, and enduring identity – one that matches the passion and respect of its global audience.
Keep Eurovision’s identity strong. Bring back the original logo.
