For years, Angelina Ballerina has been an inspiration to young dancers and fans everywhere. The original series, with its beautiful hand-drawn animation, heartwarming friendships, and valuable life lessons, was pure magic. However, when Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps was released, it completely changed everything.

It wasn’t just a sequel—it was a total reboot that erased what made the original so special.

💔 What went wrong?
❌ Angelina was moved away from Chipping Cheddar, separating her from her best friends.
❌ The classic animation style was replaced with stiff, unnatural CGI.
❌ Key characters like Alice, Henry, William, Penelope, Priscilla and Sammy were either changed beyond recognition (Alice) or removed (Henry, William, Penelope, Priscilla, Sammy).
❌ Miss Lilly, Angelina’s wise and elegant dance teacher, was replaced.
❌ The charming 1930s-inspired setting was discarded in favor of a modern look that lacked the original’s timeless charm.

💡 What we want in a proper revival:
✔️ Bring back the classic hand-drawn animation style—no more stiff CGI!
✔️ Have Angelina move back to Chipping Cheddar where she belongs.
✔️ Restore her friendships with Alice, Henry, William, and even Penelope, Priscilla, and Sammy.
✔️ Bring back Miss Lilly as her ballet teacher.
✔️ Keep The Next Steps characters (Gracie, Viki, A.Z., Marco, etc.) but redesign them in the classic style so they fit into the world properly.
✔️ Develop the Pinkpaws Twins (Penelope & Priscilla) by having them finally apologize to Angelina and forming a fun dynamic (and now having Angelina include them in more of her activities).
✔️ Introduce new characters, including a tough new rival so bad even the Pinkpaws don't like her!

✔️Try and introduce one non-mouse character that was never mentioned in the show. (perhaps a hummingbird?)
✔️ A fresh, new storyline that respects the original series while adding depth and excitement.

Why this matters:
As a theater kid and a huge fan of Angelina Ballerina, I know this show has inspired so many young performers. It’s not just a cartoon—it’s a love letter to dance, music, and friendship.
