Bring Back The Michigan Panthers Cheer Team

The Issue

My daughter, along with countless other children, adores the Michigan Panthers Cheer Team. This team has not only brought joy to its young fans but also served a special purpose within our community in Detroit, MI. The cheer team has been an integral part of local events and initiatives, fostering a sense of unity and spirit that is irreplaceable.

The Michigan Panthers Cheer Team is more than just a group of performers; they are role models for our children who teach them about teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. It's not just about cheering at games; it's about building character in our youth.

Moreover, their presence at games significantly contributes to the overall atmosphere and fan experience. According to a study by George Washington University (2015), cheerleaders can greatly enhance spectators' enjoyment of games and foster stronger community bonds.

Therefore, we must act now to save this beloved institution from dissolution. The loss would be deeply felt by all who have come to appreciate their work - from excited young fans like my daughter to the wider community that benefits from their service.

Please join us in urging relevant authorities to preserve the Michigan Panthers Cheer Team. Your signature can make all the difference for these cheerleaders and for our community as well. Sign this petition today!

*Update Lambert the PR and Marketing firm that represents the Team has posted 3 new positions on their website. The positions are as followed Hype Team, Brand Ambassadors, and Game Day Operations Manager all of these positions could be fulfilled by the existing Cheer Team please voice your opinions to Nick Bartolone at Lambert that you want to see this team his email is nbartolone@lambert.com.

New update!!!

Panthers fans we have been lied to, when I first started this campaign I was told by Nick Bartolone from Lambert marketing (the company that does marketing and game day events for the team), that the league didn’t want Cheer/Dance teams. I was given notice that a few teams have a dance team the Battlehawks being one of them. As a fan I am upset to hear this and I’m also upset because we lost season ticket holders over this move. I’m in no way calling Nick from Lambert a liar, but I would like you to bring your displeasure of this bad decision up to him so he can forward it to the League. You can reach him at nbartolone@lambert.com please don’t send him a nasty message as I believe he is following the directions the league is telling him to follow. Please continue to share the petition to send a message to the UFL.
