I was six years old when I first played the LEGO Friends app and I was completely obsessed with it. I remember spending hours just exploring Heartlake City, going horseback riding with Mia, and losing track of time in a way that only the best games can make you do. It was one of those games that just felt safe and fun and like your own little world.

I hadn't thought about it in years until recently it just randomly popped into my head. I went to look it up and realized it was completely gone. No app store listing, nothing. And honestly it made me really sad.

I'm probably not the only one. The LEGO Friends franchise has been around since 2012 and has sold hundreds of millions of sets worldwide. The app had a huge player base of kids who grew up with it and many of them, like me, still remember it fondly. That kind of connection doesn't just disappear.
