Given some of the more controversial recent changes to Disneyland Paris (the worst offender being the downgrade of Hyperspace Mountain instead of De la Terre à La Lune) and the changes to Tower of Terror (https://youtu.be/5W4Vc5gIeVk?feature=shared it would be so easy to bring it back to it’s original form), but one change that really seems nothing like a downgrade is the removal of the squid to Disneyland Paris. 

Theme Parks need to involve, and there was some necessary upgrades made to the attraction, but this (as well as the removal of the Captain Nemo portrait), and ruin a lot of what the attraction great. It was an impressive animatronic, it ruins the theme of the attraction and it was the payoff for walking through the attraction, the climax! Taking away the Captain Nemo portrait over the piano is also a blow since it takes away atmosphere, alongside the lighting and sounds of the submarine. To replace the former with stock footage is also a blow. It is one of the changes that ruins one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world alongside Hyperspace Mountain, but this one especially hurts, so for the fans and the average guests paying to the park alike, be reconsider bringing back the giant squid and the portrait as well, thank you.
