Bring back the Angry Birds 3 in 1 Flix Candy for Angry Birds 3 Promotion
The Issue
Like many of you, I have fond memories attached with the Angry Birds phenomena of the 2010s - playing the games, collecting the toys, and particularly enjoying the Angry Birds 3 in 1 containers by Flix Candy. These unique items, available from early 2013 to late 2014, came in a hard plastic container shaped and painted like the iconic main Angry Bird Red, complete with a bag of candy, a collectible keychain, and a sticker. For fans like us, the joy they brought was amazing! Sadly these got discontinued at the end of 2014. These were a cool staple of the candy aisles in stores alongside the Super Mario candy (which came in tin containers shaped like power ups or as enemies from the games). However, while you can still find the Super Mario candies ins stores ( with the only exception being the Bobomb candy which had a candy powder inside the character shaped container).
Now, as Rovio and Sony anticipates the release of the Angry Birds 3 film, I believe it's the perfect opportunity to bring back these cherished containers and relive those wonderful memories. The reintroduction of these collectibles could also help boost the promotion of the new film, reviving the Angry Birds excitement and nostalgia among fans, both old and new. Also, if they kept everything the same as the original releases from 2013, it'll sell a lot more. Which would help the film. Since Rovio has rereleased the discontinued Angry Birds plush in 2023. It isn't impossible for them to rerelease these 3 in 1 Candy. Now since the containers were made of hard plastic , it is possible it'll be changed if brought back. However I have three solutions for that. One is to reuse the hard plastic from overstock Flix Candy products that hasn't sold. The second is to use 100 percent recycled plastic. The third is to use plastic in the ocean ( like what Mattel did with the Jurassic World Ocean Protector Mosasaurs and Habitat Defender Triceratops ) , so that way it makes the product and also helps the environment. But in the end, it's all up to Rovio, Sega ( who now owns Rovio), and Flix Candy to decide.
Let's urge Flix Candy and the Angry Birds team to bring back this part of our childhood ! Please sign this petition and let's get the Angry Birds 3 in 1 Flix Candy back into production!
