Bring Back Tesco to Poland

Bring Back Tesco to Poland

The Issue

For years Tesco was a big supermarket chain in Poland. People went to its stores to buy food and other things. Tesco was a part of everyday life for families, students, workers and communities. Tesco was not a place to buy groceries. It was a place people liked for its friendly atmosphere, many products, affordable prices and late-night shopping.

In 2021 Tesco officially left Poland. Sold its stores. Since then many former Tesco stores have. Been taken over by other chains. Even though the buildings are still there many people feel that the Tesco experience is gone.

Years later people in Poland still talk positively about Tesco. Online discussions, old photos and memories about Tesco Poland are still popular among customers who miss the stores.

I moved to Poland after Tesco had already left. I never got to shop at Tesco myself.. I heard stories from friends and long-time residents about what made Tesco special. It's rare for a supermarket chain to leave behind strong memories years after closing.

This petition is not about nostalgia. It's also about showing that people still like the Tesco brand in Poland today.

Polands market is growing fast. Customers want:

* prices,

* international products,

* loyalty programs,

* many product choices,

* convenient shopping,

* and strong competition between supermarket chains.

Tesco used to offer many of these things and built an identity in Poland. A return. Whether through hypermarkets, smaller stores, partnerships or online services. Could give consumers more choice and bring back a brand that people still remember positively.

People also miss:

* the Tesco Clubcard,

* imported products,

* Tesco-branded products,

* 24-hour stores,

* non-food sections

* and the shopping atmosphere.

For people and new residents like me Tescos return would be a chance to experience a store that has become legendary in online conversations and among former customers.

We respectfully ask Tesco to think about the market again and see that people still like the brand.

This petition aims to:

* show customer interest

* unite Tesco customers

* keep the memory of Tesco Poland alive

* and encourage discussion about a possible future return.

Even if a full nationwide return is not possible many supporters would still like:

* Tesco stores,

* online grocery delivery,

* partnerships with existing retailers,

* or Tesco products back in Poland.

Tesco was part of life for many people in Poland. Years after its departure the brand is still remembered. This petition proves that Tesco has not been forgotten and that there are still people who would support its return.

If you also miss Tesco remember shopping or want to see the brand return, to Poland please sign and share this petition.
