Calling all Animal Jam Classic players! Whether you play for nostalgic purposes or are relatively new to the game, please listen.

Everyone knows about the Rare Spiked Collar. It's the basis for currency and such a treasured item in the game. As an older player, obtaining these from an adventure or even from trading would be such a refreshing feeling. However, within recent years, the Spiked Collars were removed from the item pool of ALL adventures! Of course, many people (including myself) would play the game as a means to try and collect them and build up worth. Spiked wrists are still obtainable yet this removal has made getting rarer items a lot more difficult.

We must confront the reason why AJHQ removed them in the first place. I am sure we all remember the infamous 2017 breach and all of the bot raids after that. Because of this shift from casual gameplay to more of a rarity-focused community, hackers became more prominent in order to unfairly obtain these spikes. Hackers and people of the sort deserve to be punished, but why should the whole community by taking away such a valuable item? This only gives way to those who don't follow the code and sell Black Long Collars on other sites. If more effort was put into this wonderful game, and the Long Collars were brought back, I can assure that more people would be willing to play this game. The adventures are fun, and it's not fair to take away the thrill of getting prizes because others ruined it. It is a win-win situation if you think about it. Adding more security to the game and bringing back the spikes will make playing AJC a more safe and fun experience! 

The point of this petition is to bring light to something that really made Animal Jam Classic what it is "classic" for: collecting and adventures. Along the way, interactions only enhance the fun. Please consider signing this so we can emphasize that our community is NOT dead!!!! I'm sure I am not the only one who would love to see them added to the item pool again.
