My update, Nice Pic right, nicely staged, The only correct is the flooring that is Fake cheap flooring. I am a quite tenant, I don't drink and I don't do drug's.I have never been late on my RENT ever,

I have lived here just over 3 years, and this is what has happened in 3 short years. My first upstairs neighbor liked to vacumn at 3 am, no carpet so running the nozzel on the bare floor not 1 or 2 times every dam NIGHT. Finally enough, Knock knock, Can you please stick that vacumn where the sun don't shine it's 3 am. Thanks

First Winter I moved in Sept, I had No heat at all If you know Etown winter's sometimes It was colder than it was outside cause I in the basement suite. Called Landlord...thought don't say it please don't say it but he DID, "Did you turn it up on the termostate, No again not really well educated here But Yeah I tried that trick! 3 duvets sweaters,and space heater, last summer they fixed it. The termostats in the boiler register were broken. Dam cold winter that was!

Upstairs, bathroom leaked casuing water damage in my bathroom, Leak upstairs fixed, not my bathroom ceiling, still drops plaster paint, and crap. Yes I have pic's

First Summer, kitchen sink pipe broke, rusted right out. I put a towel and a crap load of duct tape around it, send pic's Yet my repair job is still holding Up. It is still together with duct taped and a towel, it didn't break at a joint it just rusted right in the middle.

2 days of rain in June and the water came in through the foundation into my living room and kitchen, yup call 24 hour line, 2 hours later maitence shows up, and I quote" Is this the first time it happened", Yes" Your Lucky! it will go down. That was it. Pic's yup. I can not turn off my TV cause it take 100's of trys to get it back on, but i cut most of my cable cause I got a rent increase it's a luxury i can't afford. My printer no longer works, the cords for both were wet from the flood but I do have renter's insurance have to have it, but nope not covered!

Garbage Bin overflows weekly 100's of bags just thrown beside it, along with busted furniture, its gross and stinks, I feel for the building right by it, Garbage men pick some up but it's a losing battle. Pic's YUP. We have newer windows, in an old building but kitchen window a odd size so no screen, AB summer's 35, no air. Guy who cuts the small lawn outside my building points the mower at my windows, now even I know better than that if the window is open I clean up grass, if closed it's all over my window! 3 people have large size Dogs I feel for the dogs but it's their pet, again I face a small grasses area, that is were they take them to crap, and don't pick it up, lift there leg on my bdrm window! No Class!

I am one of them people who checks my smoke detector, I was suprized to see it is not even wired in just for show safety concern to me but that's just me. I have a 15 year old Cat Sammy, I look after her feed water change her litter, and she pays 25$ a month, you would thin she would get her own room.

Crack head at 4am yelling and screaming to call the cops, then he pulled the fire alarm, lucky me right outside my door the bell is, 2 hours it went off. Mailbox's destroyed to many times to count, go ahead steal my mail can you pay the bills while you have it, thanks loads,  holes kicked in the walls, Laundry, 1 regualr washer for 14 suites overload it ,floods, I am connected to laundry room, so the 100 year old carpet outside my door gets wet and sinks and it comes in under my door. Over fill it cause we have to pay!

Went I had my panceractic attack I called 911, I was in really bad sharpe hence the 8 weeks in hospital. The bus showed up from 911, they had to call me cause they couldn't get in my building no master key for it. I don't recall much as I was falling and in and out of conciouness, but I did get up stairs to let them in but I fell again and broke my shoulder letting 911 in! Safety concern there!

3 times someone has tried to break in my place. I have a baseball bat and I sure as hell ain't affaird to use it, or I wasn't, in the last few years I have broken my leg twice and had pancretitic, hospital for 8 weeks during the pandemic, xmas and new years, same year no heat so at least the hospital was warm, but I now have a cane and a walker, so ya not quite as brave as I use to be. At 6pm both the front doors Lock, you can't get to the buzzer, said it's for safety, so if I expect company they gotta call and tell me they here, or delivery's I have to go let them in. 2 times the door was damaged and I couldn't open it from the inside! Fire  Saftey again! Since I am across the hall from the manager, at least 20 times a week people buzz me if he doesn't anwer cause he ain't there a lot. I don't even get up anymore cause I know it ain't for me!

I have lived in Etown 40 years and in a lot of different rentals. This is the only building that they have done pest control 3 times now. This means I have to take everything out of my cuboards and closets, move furniture away from the walls. I am a very tidy and clean person, but the neighbor didn't do the task so guess where all the Cockroaches went yup in there place 2 weeks ago, now they are coming back out and I have killed a bunch of the creapy things and they aint easy to kill. Yup pics before I kill them. After spray I have to wash all my dishes again, and my clothes smell, with my leg breaks getting up on a stool is difficult and fear of falling is real. I can't pile it on my balcony cause I ain't got one, so the bed and couch.Tehn 30 sticky traps around the place. 

A few days ago I had some young guy knock on my window it happens a lot he forgot his backpack and was locked out. Okay I will let you in but you can take out my garbage for me Deal! He was pretty cold in a light jacket, I said hold on a sec, got my winter PPE Jacket and said here keep warm, yes he thanked me, when I went to put my clothes in the dryer he was gone, but he was nice enough to take a crap on the stairs! WTF dude!  Yes Pics.

Now you are thinking man you should move, and you are right, but there is no where I can afford. This is the cheapest in Etown. After Rent Food bills, I have 54$ a month left from my pension. I can't afford the 40$ increase I got let alone to move to a decent place. So please keep signing..

Keep passing it on cause I am not the only one living in theses conditions, paying 54% to rent.

Thanks again for your comments and shares, I have tried to read and repky to as many as I can, but I do read them all and many bring me to tears. I know my story is not the only one, in fact most people in our building who pay their rent on time every month have some of the same problems, I bitch I could face eviction.....but I will keep at it untill the powers that be LISTEN. And dam it stop telling me to budget or get a second dam job.
