The Issue

To the Executive Leadership at Tencent Games, Krafton, and TiMi Studio Group,

We, the global gaming community, are officially petitioning for the revival, re-release, or independent spin-off of PUBG Mobile: Marching (The TiMi Studio Version).

When Tencent permanently closed the TiMi servers in 2019, the primary justification was a desire to consolidate the player base around a single, unified global version that strictly mirrored the realistic, gritty tactical experience of PUBG PC. At the time, TiMi's inclusion of deployable shields, buildable tactical structures, and advanced vehicle mechanics was deemed "too arcade-like" and a departure from the core PUBG formula.

However, the state of mobile gaming in 2026 has completely invalidated that original reasoning:

1. Modern PUBG Mobile Has Already Abandoned Realism: The argument that the TiMi version was "too unrealistic" no longer holds weight. Today's standard PUBG Mobile is packed with futuristic sci-fi themes, mech suits, anime crossovers, supernatural player abilities, and heavy arcade gimmicks. The core game has already fundamentally departed from the strict realism of PUBG PC. If the standard game is going to embrace arcade mechanics anyway, there is no longer a valid philosophical reason to suppress the TiMi version.

2. Superior Technical Optimization: PUBG TiMi remains legendary for its engine efficiency. Built by TiMi Studio Group, it delivered unmatched visual clarity, vibrant lighting, and stutter-free 60+ FPS performance on mid-range devices. Many current mobile shooters struggle with visual blurriness, aggressive anti-aliasing, and asset bloating. Bringing back the TiMi engine would give players the crisp, highly-optimized gameplay they desperately miss.

3. A Proven Market for Tactical-Arcade Variety: The gaming landscape has proven that players love high-mobility, creative battle royales. The mechanics pioneered by TiMi in 2018—deployable defenses and specialized combat—are exactly what modern players crave. Instead of restricting players to a single framework, Tencent should offer the TiMi version as a distinct, standalone alternative for those who prefer flawless optimization and fast-paced, tactical action.

We urge Tencent and Krafton to reconsider the value of this lost masterpiece. Whether as a legacy standalone game, a special seasonal mode, or a newly optimized spin-off title, the gaming community wants PUBG Mobile: TiMi Edition back.
