Bring back plague toads to Warhammer
The Issue
In the vibrant worlds of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and 40k, certain legendary figures have faded into obscurity, lost to the annals of history and the elusive confines of resin and retired kits. Among the most missed are our beloved plague toads, the mystic creatures that once galloped across battlefields, leaving a trail of chaos and destruction in their wake. These cute fan favorite froggies from masterpieces such as total war 3 or boltgun have remained stuck in legends, celebrated by many, yet physically absent from our modern games due to the lack of a plastic kit.
For years, devoted players and collectors have been yearning for their return. The plague toads are not merely miniatures; they are a bridge to the epic tales and battles of old. Their presence on the battlefield captures the imagination and adds layers of strategy and intrigue to our games. However, despite their potential to captivate new generations of players, they remain shackled to the past.
The world of wargaming thrives on diversity, creativity, and authenticity. To rejuvenate this ecosystem, we desperately need the return of plague toads in a modern, accessible form. A new plastic kit would not only rejuvenate interest in these classic figures but also introduce them to a broader audience, enhancing both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k in ways that will satisfy long-time enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Games Workshop has a track record of listening to their fanbase, taking cherished characters and models and breathing new life into them with stunning plastic renditions. They have done it with other factions and creatures, and the time has come to do it for the plague toads.
Join us in calling on Games Workshop to recognize this unfulfilled niche and bring back the plague toads. Let's ensure that these iconic froggies are revived in stunning detail, contributing to unforgettable gaming experiences for all. Sign this petition to support our cause and bring these legendary figures back where they belong: in our games and on our tables.
