I have lived in Calgary all my life and my son is a 4th generation Albertan.

When I was young we travelled from Calgary to Vancouver via train and I still remember every moment of it.

Into my teens I would take day trips to Banff and then it was all GONE, taken away from us and moved up North to the Edmonton area!

It was a political move, from an outside Eastern source. I cannot find the exact information, it seems to be scrubbed,  so I will forgo what I remember.

NO POLITICIAN SHOULD HAVE TO POWER TO COME TO OUR PROVINCE AND CITY AND AFFECT OUR ECONOMY THAT WAY! It is time to bring it back!

Tourism Calgary's figures say an estimated 8.4 million people visited the city in 2023. In 2019, there were about 8.0 million.

Please contact Daniel Smith and tell her we want it back for economic reasons.  The jobs created from here to the coast will be amazing and the tourist will love it.

And keep it affordable so everyone can enjoy it.  The price they are charging on the Northern route is OUTRAGEOUS.
