BC Health Care Matters runs under Canada Pacific Health Care Matters Society

Dear Supporters,

Just a few months have passed since nearly 50,000 people signed our petition. Since then, our organization has matured, and we’ve caught the attention of our elected Government officials. Despite this attention the government’s priorities have not yet changed.

We need to increase our influence! We propose two ways to achieve that: registered supporters and donations.

We need supporters so that when we meet with an MLA, or cabinet member, we can prove that we speak for 50,000+ British Columbians whose vote matters.

We are offering you a chance to apply for a supporter membership in our registered society, Canada Pacific Health Care Matters Society. The funds we raise from membership and donations will pay for signs, flyers; lawyers fees; and public events similar to our Rally in May 2022 (and our upcoming rally on October 22nd, 2022). The funds will also help finance traveling to other communities to speak to others interested in our work, and more.

By becoming a supporter you;
● Enjoy access to a members only platform on our website where you can find coupons for our
store, participate in member forums, and more.
● Advocate for change by partnering with us to advance and support all activities and actions that
foster timely access to appropriate health services for every resident of British Columbia.
● Participate in the future of our organization by attending our Annual General Meeting.
● Keep up to date with our monthly newsletter, BC residents’ stories, ongoing campaigns, progress and achievements.

We are:.
● Grassroots BC residents who believe we all deserve to have a family doctor.
● Working to persuade government officials to make access to a Family Doctor for every resident of BC their top priority.
● Keeping the public, many of whom are voting citizens, informed as to how government decisions are affecting the healthcare crisis.
● Not politically aligned with any party or associated with any other organization

Also:
● We are now registered as a self-funded, volunteer-driven society.
● We have constituted a board, named directors and executive committee members.
● We have distributed signs, held events, and met leaders.

We are committed, focused, organized and ready for more action.
